CCARC is an accredited, non-profit agency that contracts with the Alabama Dept. of Mental Health/Mental Retardation through the Clarke-Baldwin MR/DD Board to provide Alabama Medicaid Waiver services. CCARC also contracts with Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services to provide Supported Employment.

CCARC depends on support from the community (individuals, churches, businesses, clubs, etc.), Clarke County United Way and United Way of SouthWest Alabama, and fund raising events to provide the additional resources needed to provide services.  Total revenues for FYE06 were $1.5 million with total expenditures of $1.46 million.  Over $285,000 was needed for local "match".  A total of 117 people were served in FYE06 through the various services provided.
